TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will round things out when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the thing that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It does be part of your decision.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
