TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
