TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.
FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Welcome Offer
