The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade went live in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the thing this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
